Mr Nights goes to Vegas
Began the Labor Day weekend with my friend, Wombat (kissnblog.com). A bittersweet kick-off to the weekend as I am moving from Sarasota, FL. I have been an off and on (mostly on) resident since 1996. Wombat has become quite a suitable mate (his term is co-conspirator) for discussing several arcane subject matters and a few that are always on the top of each of our minds. The move entails packing up the belongings and venturing westward to Las Vegas, NV. But I digress...
This blog was created as a result of that parting of ways. Wombat has encouraged me to create a new blog based upon my own creative goo. After a couple of tequilas and explaining to him that no 'goo' exists, the light bulb finally and inexplicably began to glow. I personally believe that Tesla was doing some experiments in the area and it had nothing to do with me. The impetus for my thoughts behind this particular blog actually came from an idea posited by Doc30ty. She came up with an idea of having an idea bank of interesting questions for the summer doldrums bloggers sometimes experience and hence stop blogging for no particular reason other than there is just nothing to blog about.
So my thinking is this: The only way I can possibly create and maintain a blog is if others create the content and I just armchair QB the whole mess. From experience I have learned that people just love backseat drivers, armchair quarterbacks and male egos. (I wish there was a sarcasm font). My gawd, genius.
There is a possibility that we together could create an actual wiki cataloging the psyche of the male and female personae. So feel free to speak your mind and let it all hang out here.
A slight background on author: Mr Nights is currently a senior executive of a multinational corporation headquartered in Hong Kong. He also has experience as a politician - both as an elected official and working for a Governor of a US state that shall remain unmentioned. He is currently single but was married twice. Once to his high-school sweetheart that developed adult onset mental disorders including multiple personality (dissociative) disorder, borderline personality disorder, psychotic personality disorder, psychogenic fugue and psychogenic amnesia. The second time to a trophy wife born in Europe and to this day is his best friend. His two children are both accomplished and quite cool in their own right.
